To encourage more girls to take up science, the following strategies can be adopted: - inviting women scientists to visit classroom. - using gender-sensitive language and encourage your students to do so. - engaging students in examining myths and stereotypes about science. - be mindful that girls also participate in discussion in science classroom along with boys. Hence, 'only girls always dominating while discussion in science classroom' should not be adopted.
