Equality is important for all.
Equality makes a difference because it helps us avoid harmful generalisations or stereotypes. This includes stereotypes regarding those at the margins of society, such as those suffering from addiction or mental health issues.
While discussing about equality a teacher should focus on objectives like address issues of dignity with the learners, sensitise learners towards respecting everyone, and build upon values enshrined in the Constitution and so on.
