Cost price = C.P = Rs. (6600 + 250) = Rs. 6850
To gain a profit of 20%
∴ Selling price = (1 + 0.20) × C.P = 1.2 × 6850 = Rs. 8220
Shortcut method:
Selling price = (1 + profit percent/100) × {(1 - discount percent/100) × marked price + repair cost}
∴ Selling price = 1.2 × {(1 - 0.12) × 7500 + 250} = Rs. 8220
