Number of person (M2)=9
Per day work (H2)=6‌hours
Concept used:
(M1×H1)/W2=(M2×H2)/W2
Where,
M1 → First type of men
H1 → Per days working hours by first type men
W1 → Wages of first type men
M2 → Second type of men
H2 → Per days working hours by second type men
W2 → Wages of the second type men
Calculations:
(M1×H1)/W2=(M2×H2)/W2
⇒ (6 × 8)/1680 = (9 × 6)/W2
⇒W2 = (54 × 1680)/48 = Rs. 1890
∴ The 9 men working 6 hours a day will earn Rs. 1890 per week
