above mean sea level (MSL). What is the height above MSL at which an aircraft must fly in order to get the aerial photographs at a scale of

Solution:

Given that

{f}=0.2 {m}

{h}=1200 {m}

{s}=\;{1}/{8000}

then,

S=(\;{f}/{ {H}-h})

⇒ \;\; \;{1}/{8000} \;\; =\;{0.2}/{ {H}-1200}

{H} \;\; =2800 {m}
