The lens is placed horizontally on a plane mirror and filled with water as shown in figure (i). Now its focal power is P2 . Then lensis placed on a horizontal plane mirror and the space between them is filled with water as shown in figure (ii). Now its focal power is P3 . Then the lens is filled with water as shown in figure (iii). Now its focal power is P4 .
