H2O2 is used as bleaching agent in laundry.
Carbon tetrachloride was commonly blended with other solvents for use as a dry cleaning solvent.
Now, because of its high toxicity and tendency to corrode equipment, carbon tetrachloride is no longer used as a drycleaning solvent.
