A parallel plate capacitor with plate separation d and plate area A is filled with a dielectric slab of thickness t (t < d). After disconnecting from the battery, energy stored in the dielectric is equal to half of total energy stored in capacitor before dielectric slab is kept, then t equals to (given, K = 3)
