$\Rightarrow \mathit{x}=\mathit{y}+3$ ...1)
$2\mathit{x}+3\mathit{y}=36$ ...2)
Put the value of x from equation (1) in equation (2), we have –
$\Rightarrow 2\left(\mathit{y}+3\right)+3\mathit{y}=36$
$\Rightarrow 2\mathit{y}+6+3\mathit{y}=36$
$\Rightarrow 5\mathit{y}=30$
$\Rightarrow \mathit{y}=6$
Put this value in equation (1), we have –
$\Rightarrow \mathit{x}=6+3=9$
∴ Interesting point (x, y) = (9, 6)
