Calculation:
∵ CSA of cylinder = 2πrh
$\Rightarrow 242=\left(2\times 22\times \mathit{r}\times 11\right)/7$
$\Rightarrow 242\times 7=2\times 22\times \mathit{r}\times 11$
$\Rightarrow \left(242\times 7\right)/\left(2\times 22\times 11\right)=\mathit{r}$
$\Rightarrow \mathit{r}=7/2\mathit{c}\mathit{m}$
∵ Volume of cylinder $=\mathit{\pi }{\mathit{r}}^2\mathit{h}$
⇒ Volume of cylinder $=\left(22/7\right)\times \left(49/4\right)\times 11$
$=847/2\mathit{c}{\mathit{m}}^3$
$=423.5\mathit{c}{\mathit{m}}^3$
