The first-ever Ice climbing festival was celebrated in Nubra valley.
Nubra valley is located in Leh, Ladakh.
This is the seven-day event that was organized by Nubra Adventure Club.
Ice climbing is a popular winter sport abroad. Taking the cue, local adventure sports lovers have explored several ice climbing spots in Nubra valley to attract adventure tourists to the region.
Ice climbing will be done by18 participants across Nubra valley including 4 women.
All participants were trained in basic ice climbing skills during the festival at three locations, Pudong Cake at Panamik, Artificial Glacier at Ayee Village and first ascent at ” Nubra Adventure Club Crag” located near Warshi Village.
