The fourth box at 350 kg is 30% lighter than the fifth box. Find the difference in the average weight of the four heaviest boxes and the four lightest boxes.

Weight of second box

Now, 200 < 250 < 300 < 350 < 500
∴ Required difference = Average of 4 heaviest boxes - Average of 4 lightest boxes
=

({250+300+350+500}/4)

({200+250+300+350}/4)

= (350 - 275) kg = 75 kg
