(a) As per the latest telecom subscription data (as on 31st July, 2013) released by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) private operators hold 88 30% of the wireless market share (based on subscriber base) where as BSNL and MTNL, the two PSU operators, hold only 11.70% market share.
