(C) Mohammad Hamid Ansari is an Indian politician who served as the Vice–President of India from 2007 to 2017. He has also served as an Indian ambassador and is ex-chairman of the Rajya Sabha from 2007–2017. Ansari was the first person to be re-elected as VP after Sarvepalli Radha krishnan in 1957. Venkaiah Naidu becomes the Vice President of India and Ex-officio Chairman,Rajya Sabha on 11 August,2017.
