MPPSC 2010 General Studies Solved Paper-1

(C) Sucheta Kripalini sang‘Sare Jahan Se Achha’ and‘Jana Gana Mana’ in the Central Assembly at midnight of 14/15 August, 1947. At the stroke of the midnight,Rajendra Prasad read out the pledge which the members read with him in English and Hindi. Then the constituent assembly passed a resolution assuming power to govern India and appointed Mountbatten as the first governor general.
