(C) Kalvakuntla Chandrashekar Rao, better known and abbreviated as K.C.R., is an Indian politician and the first Chief Minister of Telangana, anew state formed by the division of Andhra Pradesh in 2014. He is the leader and founder of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi, a regional party in India. He took oath as the first Chief Minister of the new state of Telangana on $2^{\mathit{n}\mathit{d}}$ june, 2014.
