He is best known as the architect of India’s national initiative in super computing where he led the development of Param supercomputers. He is aPadma Bhushan, Padma Shriand Maharashtra Bhushan awardee. Indian computer magazine Data quest placed him among the pioneers of India’s IT industry. He is also known as the father of Indian Super Computer.
