Solution:

U=i↖{⋀}+2j↖{⋀}-k↖{⋀}

V=-2i↖{⋀}+3k↖{⋀}

and

W=7j↖{⋀}–4k↖{⋀}

∵ Volume of parallelopiped

=U⋅(V×W)

=|\table1,2,-1;-2,0,3;0,7,-4|

=|1(-21)-2(8-0)-1(-14)|

=|-21-16+14|

=|14-37|

=|-23|

=23

[since volume cannot be negative]
