Solution:

Let Chetan has coins

=100

Then, Gaurav has coins

40 \%

more than Chetan

=100 × \;{140}/{100}=140

Avinash has

20 \%

less than Gaurav

=140 × \;{80}/{100}=112 \;\text " coins "\;

∴

Required percentage

\;\; =\;{(112-100)}/{112} × 100

\;\; =\;{12}/{112} × 100=10.7 \%
