Veteran actor Shashi Kapoor was, in March 2015, honoured with Dada Saheb Phalke award 2014, India’s highest honour in cinema. He is the 46th winner of the honour. In 2011, he was honoured with the Padma Bhushan; he is also a proud recipient of three National Film Awards.
