Solution:

p /q = r/s =t/u = √5

{3p^2+4r^2 + 5t^2}/{3 q ^2+4s^2+5u^2}

={3(√5q)^2 + 4(√5s )^2 + 5(√5u)^2}/{3 q ^2+4s^2+5u^2}

={3 × 5q^2 + 4 ×5s^2 + 5 ×5u^2}/{3 q ^2+4s^2+5u^2}

={5(3 q ^2+4s^2+5u^2 )}/(3 q ^2+4s^2+5u^2)=5
