Solution:

Expression 1 :

2x + 5 > 2 + 3x

⇒

3x − 2x< 5 − 2

⇒

x<3

Expression 2 :

2x - 3 ≤ 4x - 5

⇒

4x − 2x ≥ −3 +5

⇒

2x ≥ 2

⇒

x≥1

-----(ii)
Combining inequalities (i) and (ii), we get : 1 ≤ x< 3
The only value that x can take among the options = 2
