Solution:

Train ticket cost for 1 day = Rs. 140
⇒ Cost for 30 days

= 30 × 140 = Rs. 4200

Cost of monthly pass = Rs. 3276
⇒ Money saved = 4200 - 3276 = Rs. 924
∴ Required % =

924/4200 × 100

924/42=22%
