Solution:

Let radius of hemisphere = r cm
Total surface area of hemisphere =

3πr^2=462

2 /3× 3πr^2 = 2/3 × 462

⇒ Curved Surface area of hemisphere =

2πr^2 = 2 × 154 = 308 cm^2
