Let the cost of one apple be $\mathit{₹}\mathit{x}$
and cost of one kiwi ₹ $\mathit{y}$.
According to the question,
$2\mathit{x}+3\mathit{y}=37$ ...(i)
$4\mathit{x}+5\mathit{y}=67$ ...(ii)
Solving Eqs. (i) and (ii), we get
$\mathit{y}=7$ and $\mathit{x}=8$
Cost of 1 apple and 1 kiwi
$=7+8=\mathit{₹}15$ $\left(\because \mathit{x}+\mathit{y}\right)$
