Rabindra Nath Mahato was elected as the Jharkhand Assembly Speaker in January 2020. He is Member of Legislative from Jharkhand Mukti Morcha party. In the 5th Assembly election Jharkhand Mukti Morcha emerged as single largest party and formed the government with coalition partner.
