The radii of two circular faces of the frustum of a cone of height 21 cm are 3 cm and 2 cm respectively. What is the volume of the frustum of the cone in

Solution:

Volume of the frustum of cone

=\π/3\h(\R^2+\Rr+\r^2)

where R = 3 cm, r = 2 cm,

=22/{7×3}×21(3^2+3×2+2^2)

cu.cm.

= 22(9 + 6 + 4)

cu.cm.

= 22 × 19 = 418

cu.cm.
