The radii of the two circular faces of the frustum of a cone are 5 cm and 4 cm. If the height of the frustum is 21 cm, what is its volume in

Solution:

R = 5 cm, r = 4 cm, h = 21 cm
Volume of frustum

={\π\h}/3(\R^2+\r^2+\Rr)

=22/7×21/3[5^2+4^2+5×4]

=22×6=1342\cm^3
