Let the price be Rs 100
After a discount of 12.5%, the price will be Rs 87.5
After another discount of 20%, the price will be.

87.5 -{20×87.5}/100=70

Thus, total discount

= 100 - 70 = 30

Discount %

=30/100×100=30%
