Solution:

(1) Average speed

={\text "Total distance"} /{\text "Total time"} =(18 + 3)/(2 ^{1/2}+1/2)

=21/3=7

Average velocity

={\text "Displacement" }/ {\text "Total time"}={(18-3)}/3=

=15/3=5

km/ h
