Solution:

Work done by A in 1 day

=1 \/ 32

Work done by B in 1 day

=1 \/ 48

Calculation:
Work done by A and B together in 1 day

=1 \/ 32+1 \/ 48

⇒(3+2) \/ 96=5 \/ 96

Work done by A and B together in 8 days

=8 × 5 \/ 96=40 \/ 96=5 \/ 12

Remaining work

=1-5 \/ 12=7 \/ 12

=60 \/ 100 × 7 \/ 12=7 \/ 20
