Current flow in resistance

Power dissipute in resistance
$‘\mathit{R}’=\frac{{\mathit{V}}_2}{{\mathit{R}}_2}$
is resistance ${\mathit{R}}_2$ is half then it will not affect voltage source. So both current and power dissipation in resistance ${\mathit{R}}_1$ is constants.
