Speed of DC shunt motor can be increase from full load speed by reducing the field current field current $({\mathit{I}}_{\mathrm{f}}$) a field flux $‘\mathit{\varphi }’$
So reducing the field current then field flux is reduce.
$\uparrow \mathit{N}\propto \frac{\mathrm{EMF}}{\mathit{\varphi }\downarrow }$
So field flux id reduce and speed of armature is more then full load speed.
