Solution:

Given:

\f =50 \hz

\B _{ \m }=1 T

\A =400 \cm ^{2}=0.04 \m ^{2}

\E _{1}=3000 \V

\E _{2}=220 \V

From equation

\E _{1}=4.44 \B _{ \m } ×\A ×\f ×\N _{1}

\N _{1}={ \E _{1}}/{4.44 ×\B _{ \m } ×\A ×\f }

\N _{1}={3000}/{4.44 ×1 ×0.04 ×50}=337.84

\N _{1} ≈3 3 8
