Since the speed of Asha is decreased by

then the time taken will be increased by

1/5

, i.e., 18 minutes
So, time taken for remaining journey = 5 × 18
= 90 minutes
= 11/2 hours
In case accident takes place 15 km further, since the time is increased by

1/5

th which is equal to 15 minutes so time taken =

5 × {15}/{60}

= 1.25 hour
= 2.5 hour
Thus it is clear that when he drives at normal speed she takes 15 minutes less to cover 15 km.
So, speed =

{15×60}/{15}

= 60 km/hour
Since Asha takes 11/2 hours at a speed of 60 km/hour then distance covered = 11/2 × 60
= 90 km
Total distance covered = 90 + 15 = 105 km
