In hydrogen atomic spectra, there are five series which have frequency range as follows:
Lyman series belongs to UV region.
Balmer series belongs to Visible region
Paschen series belongs to IR region
Brackett series belongs to IR region
Pfund series belongs to IR region
Therefore, γ-rays and X-rays cannot be seen in hydrogen atomic spectra.
