For

(i) LHS

=\;\;{4}/{x-3}+\;\;{6}/{y-4}=\;\;{4}/{5-3}+\;\;{6}/{6-4}

=\;\;{4}/{2}+\;\;{6}/{2}=2+3=5=

RHS

(ii) LHS

=\;\;{5}/{x-3}-\;\;{3}/{y-4}=\;\;{5}/{5-3}-\;\;{3}/{6-4}

=\;\;{5}/{2}-\;\;{3}/{2}=\;\;{2}/{2}=1

=RHS
