Given :

P(6,–1),Q(1,3),R(x,8)

and PQ = QR

{PQ}=√{(6-1)^{2}+(-1-3)^{2}}=√{5^{2}+4^{2}}

{QR}=√{(x-1)^{2}+(8-3)^{2}}=√{(x-1)^{2}+(5)^{2}}

⇒{x}-1=4

∴{x}=5
