Solution:

Let the length and breadth of the rectangle be 3x and 2x respectively.
Given that,

2(3x + 2x) x 50 = 25000 ⇒ x = 50

. Hence the area of the rectangle

= 3× 50 × 2 × 50

i.e. 15000 sq. m.
