(c) Akbar was the Mughal ruler who learnt Hindu Music from Lala Kalavant. Akbar was the eldest son of Humayun, and ascended the throne under the title of Jalaluddin Muhammad Akbar Badshah Ghaziat the young age of 14 at Kalanaur,Punjab. He patronised ‘navaratna’,meaning nine jewels of Akbar.
