(a) The Integrated Low Cost Sanitation (ILCS) scheme is funded by central subsidy of 75 per cent, state subsidy of 15 per cent and beneficiary share of 10 per cent.Integrated Low Cost Sanitation(ILCS) Scheme started with the objective of eradicating all dry latrines. The scheme also has the provision for construction of new latrines for the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) households who have no latrine facility.
