(d) The 2001–2011 decadal growth rate of population was not 19.05%.It was 17.64%. The population in India grew by 181 million during this decade. The growth rate was lower as compared to the earlier periods because of the implementation of different family planning measures, medical care and education to reduce the intensive growth of population.
