(c) Sarkaria Commission was under the Chairmanship of Justice R.S. Sarkaria with Shri B. Sivaraman and Dr. S.R. Sen as its members. In June 1983, the Union Government appointed a Commission under the chairmanship of Justice R.S. Sarkaria to review the question of the Centre-State relations. The Commission submitted its report to the then Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi on October, 1987.
