Both the statements are true concerning the initial phase of theIndustrial Revolution in England.England in the 18th century was inthe most favourable position for an industrial revolution, because of the reasons that England had plenty of natural resources, such as iron and coal, essential for industries. The sources of iron and coal existed side by side and this saved England from many difficulties that other countries faced. Until the eighteenth century, there was ascarcity of usable iron worldwide though reserves were known butextraction was not at optimum level.
