The first Tejas squadron of Indian Air Force consists of 20 aircrafts with 4 in reserve. Tejas is a single-engine lightweight multi-role fighter jet. It has been pegged as the world’s smallest and lightest supersonic fighter. LCA Tejas base will be located in Sulur, Tamil Nadu.
