UPSC 2017 CDS II GK Paper

The National Commission for Women was created by an Act passed by the Parliament. It is created by virtue of Article 15(c). It gives powers to the legislature to create special provisions for women and children. NCW was established in January 1992 as defined in the 1990 National Commission for Women Act.
