● Acetic acid (CH3COOH) :
◦ It is also known as also called ethanoic acid.
◦ Acetic acid is produced naturally when excreted by certain bacteria such as Acetobacter genus and Clostridium acetobutylicum.
● Oxalic acid (C2H2O4) : It is much stronger than Acetic acid.
● Lactic acid (C3H6O3) : : It is a chemical byproduct of anaerobic respiration i.e the process by which cells produce energy in the absence of oxygen.
◦ It is a natural organic acid that is found not only in milk but also in other food products such as meat and beer.
● Tartaric Acid (C4H6O6) is a white crystalline dicarboxylic acid found in many plants, particularly tamarinds and grapes.
