Sarhul is the most important festival of the adivasis. In Kolhan region this festival is known as Ba Porob which means the festival of flowers. It is the festival of many happiness which is celebrated in the spring season when flowers blossom on the branches of the sal trees. The worship of gods is conducted with sal flowers. The village priest distributes the flowers in every house and sprinkle these flowers on the roofs of each house.
