If a mobile has 5 digits password then how many different passwords can be set so that it must be divisible by 4

Solution:

A number is divisible by 4, if the number formed by last two digits is divisible by 4.
i.e.,00, 04, 24, 32 etc

First three place of the password can be set into 10 × 10 × 10 ways.
To make number divisible by 4, last two digits can be filled by 5 × 5 ways.
Hence, required number of number

=10×10×10×5×5=25000.
