A person buys 10 articles at rate of Rs. 5 each and 30 articles at the Rate of Rs. 10 each.
Total price of 10 Article = 10 × 5 = 50
And 30 articles at the Rate of Rs. 10 each.
Total price of 30 Article = 30 × 10 = 300
Average = 50 + 300/ 10 + 30
= 350/ 40
= 35/ 4
= 8.75
Hence, “8.75” is the correct answer.
